The historic towns of Dartmouth and Totnes are nearby.

Dartmoor is only half an hour away with England’s highest waterfall at Canonteign and the picturesque Becky Falls within easy driving distance. The Eden Project at St. Austell, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Nr. Mevagissey and Plymouth are enjoyable day trips. For families with children the Woodlands Country Park is only 15 minutes away and Paignton Zoo can be reached in 45 minutes.

There are numerous golf courses close to the property with the Championship Dartmouth Golf Club a short 15 minutes drive away. The club also offers swimming pool and full leisure facilities.

For those that enjoy fishing there is the choice of deep sea fishing from Dartmouth or fishing from the many beaches in the area including Slapton Sands. Children can enjoy crabbing both at Dartmouth and Salcombe.

The Dart Valley Railway runs between Kingswear and Paignton for those wishing to enjoy a journey on a steam train.

A variety of boat trips can be booked from Dartmouth including a river trip to Totnes.

There are a variety of beaches within easy reach of the properties which include Slapton Sands, Blackpool Sands, Mattiscombe, Mill Bay, Thurlestone and Bantham.
